Dangerous Goods General & Security Awareness

This one-hour course is for employees of companies that ship hazardous material of any kind, according to 49CFR requirements

This short, one-hour course satisfies compliance requirements as specified in Paragraph 172.704(a)(1) of Title 49 CFR. It is for employees of companies that handle hazardous materials of any kind and need an awareness of Dangerous Goods. After completing the course, students will be able to download and print a certificate of completion.

 

Besides becoming more aware of what Hazardous Materials/Dangerous Goods are, students learn about Hazmat regulations, fines and penalties, as well as Dangerous Goods classification, identification, packing, safety, etc. For more details, see “Summary of Course Topics” below.
