Freight forwarding managers and supervisors, at all levels, responsible for the supervision of export operations, company export compliance programs, and staff training in US export requirements and procedures will benefit from this class. It covers export compliance, freight forwarder management and supervision responsibilities. It also includes warning flags and recommendations to proactively detect and avoid illegal shipments and suspicious shippers. The class covers dealing with restrictive trade practices, permissible and non-permissible actions a forwarder may take, reporting requirements and what to do if you discover an export violation after-the-fact. You will also learn how to handle requests for documents and information by US Customs and other government representatives.

 

This in-depth course can be completed in 18 hours or less and earns NCBFAA-registered students 19 CES continuing education credits.

To get your CE credits, follow these easy steps:

 

  1. Register for DB Schenker online training (if you haven’t already done so)
  2. Login with your user name and password, and you will be directed to your “My Page” section.
  3. Select “Update user record” on the right, enter your CCS or CES number in the “NCBFAA ID” field, and click Submit Update.

That’s it! Once you’re signed up, we’ll automatically send any CE credits you earn directly to the NCBFAA!
