E2u - U.S. Exports Subject to Controls; Export Licensing Procedures for Exporters

This class is designed for exporters, freight forwarders and others who are responsible for ensuring that their shipments comply with US export and licensing requirements. It also benefits those within an organization who need to understand US export control policies and procedures, as well as those who are responsible for export compliance training within their organization.

The course includes information on US agencies and how to apply for export licenses. It also covers license exceptions for exports, procedures for items subject to export authorization and/or permits from the Department of the Interior, Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (BATF) and US Customs (CBP).

Once you finish this course, a printable Certificate of Completion will be available for download. The course can be completed in 18 hours or less and earns NCBFAA-registered students 18 CES continuing education credits.

Note: We strongly recommend taking the course E1u – Introduction to US Exports Compliance as preparation for this course.

For those who are already a Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) or a Certified Export Specialist (CES) registered with the NCBFAA, provide us with your CCS/CES ID number and you will automatically get continuing education credits upon the successful completion of a qualified course. To get your CE credits, follow these easy steps:
