US Export Controls & AES Introduction

E4u – Intro to US Export Controls and AES for Forwarders Online Training

Freight forwarders, as well as anyone else who documents shipments for export, enters and/or transmits Electronic Export Information (EEI), or places Automated Export System (AES) exemption statements on transport documents, should have this or equivalent training in order to avoid export violations.

This class presents a process-oriented introduction to the US export control and declaration requirements that are routinely encountered by freight forwarders. It does not address the full range of US export control and compliance topics. However, the study materials for this course does contain references and links to additional information, for anyone wishing to pursue a particular topic in greater detail.

Once you finish this course, a printable Certificate of Completion will be available for download. The course can be completed in 15 hours or less and earns NCBFAA-registered students 14.5 CES continuing education credits.
