Exporter personnel looking for a broad understanding of international air and ocean freight forwarding services and operational procedures in the US will benefit from this class. Newly employed US-based forwarder personnel in non-operational job assignments will also benefit from this course as they quickly gain awareness of company services, customers and the regulatory environment. This class provides an overview of international freight forwarding services, with a focus on air and ocean cargo transportation, including; freight forwarder functions, modes of cargo transportation, direct vs. indirect carriage, handling air cargo, ocean cargo, NVOCC services and more.
Once you finish this course, a printable Certificate of Completion will be available for download. The course can be completed in 22 hours or less.
