Consolidator Managers, Supervisors & Admins CTPAT Training

S14u - CTPAT for Consolidator Managers, Supervisors, and CTPAT Administrators

JUST UPDATED! This class was updated in January 2020 to comply with new CTPAT guidelines issued May 3, 2019.

This class is designed to meet US CTPAT training requirements for managers and supervisors who are required to understand, perform and comply with operational-level security measures. Managers, supervisors, or other staff in charge of setting-up, documenting, administering, and ensuring compliance with their company’s CTPAT program will benefit from this course. It encompasses all of the minimum security focus areas, as well as the categories that “must” or “should” be met.

“Minimum Security Criteria” training is required under the CTPAT (Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) program for employees of transportation intermediaries, including consolidators and NVOs. This course focuses on the “people and physical security” area of the minimum security criteria (MSC). Training of personnel to recognize threats, be aware of vulnerabilities, and understand the important role each person plays in securing the supply chain is required by the CTPAT program.

Important: The course is not intended for Customs Brokers (please refer to course S12u CTPAT Security Training: US Customs Brokers, Managers & Supervisors).

This course can be completed in 11.25 hours or less and earns NCBFAA-registered students 7.5 CCS/CES continuing education credits.

Note: Because CTPAT security measure implementation varies by company, this course provides general-purpose coverage of these topics only. For larger groups, we recommend customizing this training by supplementing with company-specific security policies and procedures. Please contact us for more information about customization.
